On her first day back at work, single mother and paramedic Ange Smith (Sarah Jane Seymour) was not expecting this kind of day. Responding to  a call, Ange encounters a woman in a crowded playground who is about to self-immolate. Reacting as any paramedic would, she does not expect the result – everyone in Dublin has suddenly disappeared.

Frantically searching the city, Ange begins to receive terrifying messages. Rapt is the story of Ange’s desperate search, not only for her daughter, but for answers as to what sinister forces are at work in this seemingly impossible situation.

Written by Devin John Doyle, directed by Kieron J. Walsh, and produced by Yvonne Donohoe of Blinder Films, this suspenseful sci-fi thriller is one of this winners of the 2015 RTÉ Storyland competition. Rapt also won the Critics Choice at the 2015 Raindance Web Fest and is an official selection at many international web fests.
